Getting help with your VA benefits

Post 90's Service Officers are standing by to help you obtain your VA Benefits.

The Post 90 Service Officers are not officially accredited Veteran Service officers (VSOs), so we DO NOT do the preparing, presenting, or prosecuting of claims for benefits. We will help you gather evidence and complete forms. We will help with your education of the VA Claims process, provide you with information, and brainstorm with you to help you.

We ARE NOT legal professionals or and DO NOT provide legal advice. Although not officially VSOs, we are very good at helping veterans (and families) navigate the complicated VA benefits process. We often also help veterans spouses and children understand the process to be able to act for themselves. We cannot represent you in interacting with the VA.

VSOs

Accredited American Legion Service Officers are specially trained to provide expert assistance, free of charge, to veterans and their families. While the majority of a service officer’s work involves application for VA disability benefits, these compassionate individuals also provide information, referrals and resources on education, employment and business, death benefits and other important topics.

If you prefer, use this link, from the National American Legion webpage, for a nearby accredited American Legion Service Officer.
